Trinamool Congress's All India General Secretary, Abhishek Banerjee, kickstarted the Adhikar Yatra from Jalpaiguri in North Bengal, leveling allegations against the BJP-led Central Government on Thursday.
Abhishek accused the BJP of misusing public funds, claiming that they are deceiving the public regarding housing and the 100-day scheme. He stated that since the BJP's loss in the 2021 assembly elections, the Center hasn't allocated any funds for West Bengal's housing scheme or 100-day action plan. Abhishek challenged the BJP government to provide evidence and publish a white paper on this matter. He emphasized the difference between Modi's assurances, which he termed as having "zero warranty," and Mamata Banerjee's promises, which he described as "lifetime warranty."
